Yiannis Mina was born in Nicosia on 25 October 1979. He was painting for all that he can remember. Yiannis uses art as a creative way to express himself. As he is confessing, painting provides him with a sense of freedom that it is reflected on his entire artwork. Yiannis, is not getting inspired by something specific or anything  other than his own imagination.

Yiannis Mina works as a teacher in primary schools in Cyprus and he believes that it is a challenge for him to make children understand the power of art and the influence that any form of art may has in their lives!
