Elias and Antonis Shamaelas brothers come from Athienou, and live in Larnaca, Cyprus. Sons of a steelworker they work mainly in iron and aluminium from their studio lab and exhibition space in the Kamares area in Larnaca. Intense involvement for more than 20 years in their father's workshop gave them dexterities and experiences working with iron, aluminium, as well as timber and stone. The chemistry between them is a continuing source of inspiration and imagination. They took classes on new techniques and technologies enriching their experience. They never stop experimenting in developing their own techniques on metal creativity and finishing. Shamaelas brothers have took part in two group exhibitions, whilst they now exhibiting at their own space in Larnaca, Cyprus.
