Maria Saouri was born in the village Limnia, Ammohostos, and from the earliest years of her life she had passion for painting. Being a very optimistic and philanthropic person she transfers into her works joy and light using mostly bright and vibrant colours.

At the moment she is taking lessons at the art-school Bella–Arti, experimenting with styles and techniques, depicting her mind and feelings on canvas. She is equally interested in landscape, marine painting and portraiture.

Maria is happily married, she has two grown-up children and two beloved grandchildren.
