Ruzen Atakan was born in
Nicosia, Cyprus in 1966. In 1988 she received her B.A. degree in Fine
Arts from Söbütay Özer’s Studio,
Gazi University, Ankara. Ruzen has had
4 solo exhibitions and she successfully took part in many group exhibitions,
both in Cyprus
and overseas. Since 1989 she is teaching painting in secondary and
high schools.
From 1996 to date she is a teacher of painting in the State Fine Arts High School, Painting
Department. Ruzen participated in the following exhibitions:
