Robert Zietara was born in 1965 in Poland. Robert is a self-taught painter. He started to draw when he was a child. During his stay in Naplio, Greece in 1987-1999, painting has been an important part of his life. At this time he attended courses in drawing under the mentorship of Austrian graphic Frantz Pilz.

In 1994 he opened a Gallery in Naplio called "Robert Art Gallery", where he exhibited his art works among other local artists. Since 2001, Robert lives and works in Cyprus. For the first few years he was involved in the tourism business, promoting Cyprus in Poland. This new challenge stopped him for a while from his artistic activities.

Getting back his artistic mood, during 2007 Robert did some new paintings (oil on canvas), graphic designs. At the moment Robert is working in Limassol for Magistrato Gardens Ltd, where he does landscaping design, photography, graphic and layout design.
