Lyn recently moved from Gloucestershire in the UK to Cyprus, having originally trained at Gloucestershire College of Art.

She spent many years performing commissions for Clients painting watercolour pictures of their houses and gardens and, once her children were older, she trained as a travel agent. This enabled her to travel extensively for business and pleasure and appreciate the differences in landscapes throughout the world. During this time Lyn experimented with painting in inks and exhibited the ink paintings along with her watercolours in various parts of the UK.

Her new love is painting in acrylics, as it is so versatile and can be either colourful or muted in colour, thick like oils and thinner for more detailed work. She has been encouraged by feedback from all those who have viewed her paintings and recognised that she has captured the colour and vibrancy of the Cyprus landscape.  Her landscapes of Aphrodite Hills golf course have also earned Lyn the respect of golfers, golf being a sport which she acknowledges she does not have time to play, but loves to capture on canvas.
