Kyriacos Papayiannis was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1953 and he studied Civil Engineering in the U.K. He worked as a Civil Engineer up to 1986. Since 1986 Kyriacos works at the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus with personnel training and HR related duties.

Always keen in Art and Photography he participated in two group exhibitions in Nicosia, Cyprus. Kyriacos uses mainly oil colour and paints on canvas, wood and pottery. In his younger days he used watercolour.

Kyriacos Papayiannis is married, has three children, lives and works in Nicosia, Cyprus.
