Katie Sabry was born in the UK of mixed Cypriot and English parents. Prior to 1974, she spent most of her childhood and teens, living on the wonderful Kyrenia, Cyprus coastline, with brief spells in England, Lebanon & Spain. After several years following studies in fine art and painting in England and Italy and seven years working and living in Germany, She settled in Limassol, Cyprus in 1987 where she opened her first studio.

Katie has been working and surviving as a full time artist in Cyprus since 1987. Her inspiration has always been the landscape, the colours, the sea and the flora of Cyprus .Katie's work is in private and public collections in Cyprus and in other European countries as well as in Australia and the United States.
