Fatos Miralay born in Nicosia in 1979, she took her first steps in the limitless world of art as a high school student. In 1996 she left Cyprus having been accepted at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design, Ankara. A year latter she decided to come back and continue her artistic work in Cyprus. In 1998, she was admitted to the Department of Fashion & Textile Design (Fine Arts) of Cyprus International University. At C.I.U. she came ahead with her productive character and prepared a research study on Interior Decoration in Cyprus. Following this intensive research, she created her first special achievement by adopting the ethnic designs and motifs of the marbles of old Cyprus houses, especially in Arabahmet zone, into 3D fashion illustrations. Afterwards she took part in the fashion design exhibition “Old Marbles in Nicosia”. After completing her university education, in 2002, she continued her artistic creation in various art studios. The same year she had her first personal exhibition, ''Full moon''. Alongside her painting work she also does fashion illustrations from her own art studio Casa Azul Art & Studio. Fatos has taken part and exhibited her art work in various exhibitions both in Cyprus and abroad.
